Monte Vista resident Dorothy B. Enriquez, 76, passed away on February 20,2019 in Alamosa, Colorado.  She was born on May 15, 1942 in Center, Colorado to Celedon and Elsie Atencio Suazo.  Dorothy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Monte Vista and she enjoyed cooking, shopping, spending time with her friends and especially spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Annette (Blas Villa) Cortez of Monte Vista, Lora (Joe) Griego of Denver, Rosie (Ralph) Romero of Monte Vista, Carlosdaniel Chacon of Monte Vista, Ben Suazo of Monte Vista, Junior Suazo and Lisa Suazo as well as twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grand children and one great great grandchild, her brother Augustine Trujillo and numerous nieces, nephews and extended loving family.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Cathy Cortez, her grandson Vicente Javalera as well as her siblings, Simie Madril, Lilly DeHerrera, Junior Suaz and Ben Suazo.

A visitation will be held on Sunday February 24, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Monte Vista and prior to the service on Monday from 9:30 am to 10:45 am at the Calvary Baptist Church in Monte Vista.
