Douglas “Dougy” Hard, 26, passed away on August 12, 2018 at the Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado.

Dougy was born in Alamosa, Colorado on December 16, 1991 to Donald Hard and Shannon Wells.  He enjoyed working with his hands throughout his life doing mechanical work and wood carving.  During his free time, he tinkered on his rockets and miniature air planes, he loved adventuring deep in the mountains and enjoying the great outdoors. Dougy loved to ride motorcycles he taught all his nieces and nephews how to ride dirt bikes and how to drive a stick shift. He was a very compassionate, compliant, and comical throughout his life and always had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his parents Donald and Shannon Hard of Blanca, Colorado.  His siblings, Charity Gomez of Blanca, Coleasha (Dave) Gonzales of Fort Garland, Ethan Hard of Blanca.  His brother, Evan Hard of Dickenson, North Dakota.  His sister, Serena Hard of California. As well as numerous extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Gertrude and Laurence Hard and Glen Wells; his infant uncles Royce and Steven Hard, his aunt Shara Wells, his sister Amberina Hard, and his nephew Trevor Gomez

A funeral service will be held at Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa on Friday August 17, 2018 at 10:00 and interment will follow immediate after service at the Blanca Cemetery.
