San Luis Valley resident-Colorado Springs Colorado resident Felix Alfred Maez, 76, passed away June 19, 2018 in Denver, Colorado at UC Health.

Felix A. Maez was born October 1, 1941 in Center, Colorado, the son of Juan Andres Maez and Edith Emma Maez.

Felix was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, grandfather and a friend who enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and crafts and loved the time spent with all his family, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Survivors include wife Josephine Maez of Colorado Springs, CO., daughters Grace Marlene Burlanga (Ramon) of Monte Vista, Edith Archuleta (Solomon Archuleta) of Alamosa, CO; sons Micheal Maez of Denver, CO, Jackie Maez of Colorado Springs, CO, Robert Maez (Felominia Maez) of Colorado Springs, CO, Bill Guilbanlt of Colorado Springs, CO; sister Porfie Silva of Sanford, CO; brothers Leonard Maez, Perfecto Maez.

He is preceded in death by his parents Juan Andres Maez and Edith Emma Maez; brothers Steve Angelo Maez and Eugene Maez and his son Felix Maez Jr. and nephew Levi Silva.

Felix had several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen and burial will be held at a later date.
