CENTER — Florence (Flo) Rael, 65, was born in Center, Colorado on December 28, 1954, to Salomon and Ora Jaramillo. She resided in Questa, New Mexico with her husband, Tomas Rael of 42 years, where she raised her four children: Tomas, Andres, Desirae, and Amberae. She peacefully passed away with her family by her side in Aurora, Colorado on September 7, 2020. 

She was a Licensed Cosmetologist in Colorado and New Mexico, receiving her certifications from Trinidad State Junior College in 1978. She cut, styled, and permed hair for her Questa community since 1981. She had a strong bond with each of her clients who loved her equally. She was very friendly, funny, and giving. There was nothing in the world Flo loved more than her family. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Flo loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. Florence loved camping, fishing, singing, and dancing. Flo really enjoyed watching sports, she was an avid Colorado sports fan Nuggets, Rockies, Avalanche and we all knew her passion for the Denver Broncos.

Survivors include her husband, Tomas Rael of Questa, NM, son Tomas Rael. of Thornton, CO; son Andres Rael of Questa, NM; daughter Desirae Rael of Pueblo, CO, daughter Amberae Rael of Tacoma, WA. Grandson Andres Jr (Duckie) of Questa, NM. Parents Salomon and Ora Jaramillo of Center, CO;  siblings James (Pat) Jaramillo, Larry Jaramillo, Fran Trujillo, Maria Jaramillo; aunts/uncles, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Florence was preceded in death by her youngest brother, Kenneth Lee Jaramillo (51), oldest sister Cleopatra Jaramillo Estrada (65), and infant brother, Raymond (9 months). And many other beloved family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at Living Word Ministries Saturday, Sept 12, 2020, 11 am; 12 Llano Rd.  Questa, NM,
