VALLEY — A total of $14,500 was raised Saturday for the Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley (FBNSLV) during the Generosity on Tap fundraiser hosted by La Puente at the Colorado Farm Brewery southwest of Alamosa.

The 12th annual event drew more than 125 attendees.

Guests enjoyed food from Gosar Sausage, live music from Don Richmond and the Rifters, and participated in the 41 live and silent auction packages. All items in the auction were donated from local businesses.

The FBNSLV is especially grateful for celebrity auctioneer, Alamosa Mayor Ty Coleman.

Last year, the FBNSLV served approximately 8,000 unduplicated individuals with 331,110 meals at their 15 food pantries throughout the San Luis Valley. FBNSLV staff and volunteers around the Valley will once again be able to support the needs of our neighbors facing the difficulties of hunger and malnutrition.

The FBNSLV is thankful to continue their mission and for the support from their local partnerships and donors.
