Romeo Colorado resident James William Farmer, 88 joined our heavenly father on July 13, 2018. James was born February 07, 1930 in Scranton Arkansas. On February 27, 1950 James was joined in Holy Matrimony to his best friend and life partner Doris Ann (Freeman) Farmer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed all types of hunting, fishing, and being in the mountains of Colorado, being with family laughing and telling jokes. James was preceded in death and welcomed in heaven by his father, William Presley Farmer, his mother Emily Florence (Sory) Farmer, his brothers Dennis Eugene Farmer, Harold Wayne Farmer, Lonnie Fay Farmer and twin brother and sister, Johnny Ray Farmer and Wilma Gay Farmer. Survivors include his wife, Doris Ann (Freeman) Farmer of Romero, Colorado his children Judy Ann (Farmer) Martinez of Ortiz Colorado, Ronald Eugene Farmer and Lucy Mae (Schultz) Farmer of Manassa, Colorado and Brenda Rena (Farmer) Lucero and Paul Cristobal Lucero of Ortiz, Colorado, and six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa, Colorado and Smith Mortuary Inc. of Charleston Arkansas. Services will be held at Smith Mortuary Inc of Charleston Arkansas.
