Josephine Marie Bassi, 89, of Pueblo, went home to be with Jesus June 8, 2019. Survived by children, Barbara Glasgow, Carol Arias, Richard (Debra) Bassi and Mark (Johna) Bassi; grandchildren, Greg (Tina) Bassi, Amy (Jasen) Mittino, Abby Arias, Anthony Arias, Allie (Craig) DeRose, Aleece Arias, Markie (Patrick) Felthault, Jeremiah Bassi and Mario (Mequela) Bassi; great-grandchildren, Gianna Riccillo, Kiera Mittino, Justin Kochis, Derek Kochis, Emma Felthault, Dane Felthault, Wade Felthault and nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters; husband, Mario, and son-in-law, Joe Arias.

Josephine was born to Frank and Josie Alishio on May 11, 1930, in Walsenburg. Josephine and Mario raised their family in Pueblo. Josephine owned and operated a mortgage brokerage company and also worked alongside Mario in the real estate and construction business. Josephine and Mario especially enjoyed their time living and working together at their cattle ranch in Monte Vista.

Josephine will be remembered for her unceasing love and concern for her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A rosary will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, and funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Thursday, June 13, both at Shrine of St. Therese, 300 Goodnight Ave. in Pueblo. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
