ALAMOSA —— Kelly Ray Bennett, 65, resident of Alamosa, born April 18, 1954, passed away October 2, 2019 in his home.
Kelly was a man with a great heart, who loved and was proud of his family. He loved spending time creating lasting memories with his loved ones. He was a man who loved his country, serving 10 years in the United States Navy before continuing his career with defense contractor Lockheed Martin.
He is survived by his wife Karen, his three children Christopher, Ryan, and Ashlee, three grandchildren, and three surviving sisters Judy, Darla, and twin Shelley. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sherrie.
A service will be held to celebrate his life at 1 p.m. at Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa on October 17, 2019. An informal get-together will immediately follow the service at American Legion Post 113.
