Kyle Montgomery, 30

BOUNTIFUL — Bountiful resident Kyle Montgomery, 30, died Jan. 21, 2020 at the University Hospital in Aurora. 

Kyle was born in Alamosa on Oct. 27, 1989.  He loved his family dearly and was a great dad, brother and son. 

His most important treasure was his daughter, Evolet Marie Montgomery.  Kyle enjoyed carpentry work and the art of farming. 

He always maintained a good sense of humor and never lacked a bad joke.  In his spare time, he could be found conquering video games or wiring up a sound system in a vehicle. 

Kyle is survived by his mother, Carolyn Guymon of Bountiful; his daughter, Evolet Marie Montgomery; and her mother, Ashley Butcher; both of Monte Vista; his brother, sisters and nieces: JoVonna (Ross) Hamilton, daughters, Elsie and Lillie of West Jordan, Utah; Alex Guymon of Sanford; and Kimberly Guymon of Logan.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Grant and Elsie Sorensen; and his brother Shawn Boutwell.

A visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 25 from 10-10:45 a.m. in the Relief Society Room at the La Jara First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

A funeral service will follow the visitation on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the same church.

Interment will take place in the Sanford Cemetery.
