LeRoy Bennett, 76, of Del Norte, Colorado, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2018, surrounded by family.
LeRoy was born April 13, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt, fish, camp, prospect for gold, and road trip on his motorcycle.
His 34 years with Xcel energy allowed him to work outside and provided for a work environment he loved.
LeRoy was quite the character with a great sense of humor, often enjoying kidding around with friends and family.
LeRoy is survived by his beautiful wife, Annie of 40 years whom he adored and loved unconditionally. He is also survived by his son Randy (Heather) Bennett, his daughter Hope (David) Rich, grandchildren Kaleigh (John) Pellissier, and James Rich, his daughter Shellie Martinez and granddaughter Jessica (Kurt) Barbosa, great grandchildren Ryann and Diesel. Grandson Joseph (Heather) Sandovol and great grandson Corbin. Grandson Josh Sandovol and great grandson Aidyn.
In accordance with LeRoy’s wishes there will be no funeral or memorial services. If you wish to honor his memory please make a donation in his name to the Joni Fair Hospice House, Pueblo, Colorado.
