Marcia Van Ry, age 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her home in Eloy, Ariz.

She was born in Alamosa on July 4, 1946 to Gladys and Edwin Terpstra. She was a 1964 graduate of Alamosa High School and met her future husband, Arvin Van Ry while attending Dordt College.

She and Arvin were married on July 22, 1966.  Marcia and her husband were first dairy farmers and later Marcia worked in the family business, Colorado Construction.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Arvin; a brother, Keith Terpstra (Chris); three sons, Arlan (Mindy), Wayne (Ruth), and Arlo (Keri) and four grandchildren, Cody, Toby, Chelsey and Alan Van Ry, brother and sister-in-laws, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Marcia touched are invited to the Creede Community Church, 401 South Main Street, Creede, CO on Friday, July 20 at 2:00 PM for a celebration of Marcia’s life.
