Melanie Maxine Garcia, born Nov. 19, 1961, in Antonito, Colo., sadly left this world on Dec. 22, 2023.
Her loving and free-spirited presence will be missed by many.
Her mother and father Placida and James Garcia along with her brother Tony Martinez preceded her in death.
She leaves behind her two daughters Amy Lopez and family husband Anthony, children Aleesha and Strength Lopez. Daughter Jessica Juanita Pacheco and family Antonio Pacheco, Kiana Pacheco, Elijah Medina, Kaila Jaramillo, Nazario Pacheco, and Nevistancia Medina; as well as her beloved brother and sisters along with her cherished nieces and nephews, Raymond (Sofie) Garcia with two sons, Anabelle (Joe) Duran with two sons, Darlene Martinez, Lucille (Ernie) Romero with two sons and three daughters, and Louisa Floyd with two daughters.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date as her headstone will be set in Las Mesitas cemetery alongside her family who have preceded her in death.
Melanie, a mother, sister and aunt will be forever missed and never forgotten. May she find her forever peace with the Lord forever more.
