Richard Jason (Oso) Martinez, 45, of Monte Vista CO passed away on May 6, 2018. Jason was born on October 27, 1972 to Richard David Martinez and Stella Mae Espinosa of Monte Vista.

Jason was a lifetime resident of Monte Vista, CO. His favorite past time was going hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed going to the casinos. Jason loved spending time with his family and friends having BBQ’s.

He is survived by his loving wife Tessa Sisneros of Monte Vista, CO; his parents Richard (Ricky) and Stella Martinez of Monte Vista, CO; his children Angelica (Antonio) Franco of Monte Vista, CO, Khristopher Martinez of Monte Vista, CO, Sabrina Martinez of Monte Vista, CO; brother Fabian Martinez of Monte Vista; sisters Rosemary (Romeo) Gonzalez of Monte Vista, CO, Yolanda (Miguel) Gonzalez of Monte Vista, CO, Valerie (Damian) Gallegos of Monte Vista, CO, Pita (Armando) Arias of Monte Vista, CO; 1 grandchild Antonio Jason Franco.

Rosary will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Name of Mary in Del Norte Colorado.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Mary in Del Norte Colorado.
