Ronald Earle Goodman, 67

Ronald Earle Goodman, 67, entered eternal rest on January 9, 2018 in Winfield, Missouri at his oldest son’s home. Ron was born to Charles Goodman and Wanda (Howell) Barnes on March 16, 1950 in Long Beach, California.

Ron was a jack of all trades. He loved to team rope and bull ride. He was a dog and horse lover and could name each one he had over his lifetime.  He was a skilled carpenter, an Army Veteran, a trusted police officer for Alamosa Police Department and retired as a Sargent for Alamosa Sherriff’s Department.

Ron is greatly missed by surviving five children Steve (Jennifer) Goodman of Winfield, MO,

Charlotte (Brad)Robinson of Valley Park, MO, Travis (Katie) Goodman of Los Angeles, CA, Ronnye Goodman of Colorado Springs, CO and Todd (Jamie) Goodman of Colorado Springs, CO as well as 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Audrey (Timothy) Nelson (CA), Kristen Stout(AZ) and brother, Gil Goodman (CO), as well as, numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his father and his step daughters, Wendy Cox and Amy Martinez and her infant son.

A Celebration of Life will be held on his birthday, March 16, 2018 when he will be brought home and laid to rest next to his dad at the Alamosa Municipal Cemetery. Further details will be announced at a later date.
