Center resident Tereso Valles-Mota, 61, passed away peacefully December 15, 2018 at the Del Norte Hospital with his loving family at his side. Tereso was welcomed into the world on January 11, 1957 in Zacatecas, Mexico, the son of Javier Valles-Del Real and Guadalupe Mota-Estrada. Tereso was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who enjoyed gardening, going swimming, riding his bike and making tortillas. His favorite thing in the world to be able to do was spend time with his grandchildren, family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Mary Valles of Center, CO; sons Leon Bernal of Center, CO; Carl (Denise) Bernal of Alamosa, CO; Isaac (La Rae) Bernal of Littleton, CO, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brothers Margarito (Maria) Valles-Mota and Leonardo (Adriana) Valles-Mota both of Mexico. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Tereso was preceded in death by his parents Javier Valles-Del Rael and Guadalupe Mota-Estrada.

Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Eben-Ezer Christian Church in Center. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
