Timothy Joe Salazar was born to Joe Salazar and Charlotte Salazar in Colorado Springs on Feb. 21 of 1968. He passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Jan. 7, 2024.
He was an avid woodworker, never met a stranger. He found a job that he enjoyed very much as a maintenance person for the Monte Vista School District. Fishing and going gambling with family members seemed to brighten his days. He enjoyed making cedar chests with the emblems of the Dallas Cowboys and occasionally the Denver Broncos for many people. He was a very big Dallas Cowboy fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Salazar and Charlotte Salazar.
He is survived by his son Joe Salazar, sister Luella Salazar of Monte Vista, brother Thomas Salazar (Sue) of Colorado Springs, niece Nichole Salazar and nephew Brandon of Colorado Springs, two great-nephews and lot of family members.
Services for his celebration of life will be Jan. 20, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at the San Luis Valley Cemetery in Monte Vista.
