Gloria was called home on Aug. 12, 2024, with her family by her side. Gloria was born July 28, 1945, in Los Pinos, N.M., to Filiberto Tafoya and Frolida Salas.
Gloria enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved nature, birds and butterflies, and spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved traveling, thrifting, yard sales and the occasional casino trips with her sister Nora and brother-in-law Lee Lucero.
Gloria was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Her heart was filled with love, faith, and family. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
She leaves behind four wonderful children, Laverne/Joshua Nwaokeocha, Ruby/Ben Bloom, Doreen Lopez, Lonnie/Lisa Lopez, grandchildren, Kyle/Ary Lopez, Kevin Lopez, Courtney Bloom, Grant Bloom, Jacob/Arie Nwaokeocha, Naomi Nwaokeocha, great-grandchildren Kyle Lopez Jr. and Lucas Lopez.
Cremation was chosen and services will be held at a later date.
